france lost, dammit...well, as the french say: c'est la vie. that's life..

i shall finally blog about my life, which really isn't very interesting. i spent the whole of yesterday afternoon sleeping because i was really tired after staying up to watch the world cup final. i recognise France as the winners, not italy, and zidane as the biggest loser. im still in denial over France's loss...

today was another drag, tuesdays are full days, so there are so many lessons. just when you were relieved after surviving double maths periods, you realise the next period is physics. life deals a bad deal to you sometimes...there really isn't much to talk about, since nothing interesting happens. it's always alarm rings, stone in bed for 5mins, wake up, brush teeth, wash face, drink milo, change, put pencil case in bag, rush out of house to school, reach school, flag raising, pledge-taking, trudge back to class for lessons, endure lessons and hunger, first recess, queue up for food, eat food, wash hands, go back to class, endure lessons again, 2nd recess, stone, look at the clock waiting for lesson to end, school ends, come home, stone, have dinner, bathe, stone, do hw, stone, sleep. you get the idea...

founders' day is coming and thanks to dearest mdm sim, i am unable to take part in the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the founding of AHS and the attempt to break a record, and my last founders' day as a student in AHS. she signed me up for some RJC current affairs quiz, along with chong lip, ding jie and donno who else. anw, i was really looking forward to this founders' day, but alas, it was not to be. my only consolation will be to win that bloody current affairs thing, at least i will have something else to add to my resume. WINNER OF CURRENT AFFAIRS QUIZ. that sounds SO glamourous. so because i wont be at the celebrations, i will be looking forward to the esplanade concert. normally it would not make sense to spend good money on a concert so near the prelims, but hey, it's once in 50 years, literally. if we could pay for starhub world cup subscription, it should not be beyond us to watch this. anyway, i heard that it wont just be the school people performing, that's only the second half of the show, so at least it's more value for money.

still on the topic of founders' day. the display board competition is on and the theme is the founders' day theme: onto higher ground. it feels quite weird actually. for the first time in so long i am not aware of a display board competition before it's announced to the whole school. another sign that my time in council is diminishing. it feels really weird that im not part of this. it's just so weird...haiz...life's like that...hopefully 4J will win this time. it's the last one or at least the second last one if im not wrong, so therefore, we should give it our best to try and win this one. we've won every single one since the start of the last year, so we must continue our good record.

comm elections for CDS are on friday. sec twos get ready. all the best people. dont think it's very easy to get into comm. but, if you think you've got what it takes, then go for it. dont live to regret it.

that's all for today...i have to start studying, 61 days to prelims. i know! i know! stop stressing me! erase the countdown from the board!
