yesterday, it was reported in the Straits Times that Today newspaper would be dropping a column written by mr brown after the government issued a letter, taking to task the mr brown show for an episode on rising taxi prices and stuff critisising the government.
this is really sad for our country. how can we discuss openly national issues when things like these are happening in our country? our leaders should be open to critisism and let the people openly discuss and express our opinions through various media from blogs to newspapers or even media.
it may be possible to contain the mass media, but not the man at the coffeeshop...
