studying is the mantra for almost every sec four student now. cant help it since prelims are around the corner. i've been studying, but not as hard as i should be. i just cant sit down at my desk and mug the whole day. it doesnt seem true, but I HAVE A LIFE!
anyways, last week has been rather eventful, even tho it was a week with only TWO DAYS OF SCHOOL (yay!) 2.4 run was terrifying as usual. i nearly died after running. i seriously need to do some training. i supposed i passed, but im not too sure. after 2.4 i went wif alicia, chengyou and jason on a shopping spree. we covered four places in one day. all because we wanted to buy farewell presents. after 2.4, we went to parkway, then marina square, chinatown and bugis. ultimate madness. i walked until my feet nearly cramped and my legs nearly gave way.
wednesday, national day. to be very honest, i have this love-hate feeling towards singapore. as much as i acknowledge that this country is beautiful, safe and pleasant, with an efficient government, good shopping and even better food, i want to go somewhere else and live a different kind of life. i hate the pressure cooker, technically and politically correct kind of lives we lead. how singaporeans are so stuck up, arrogant and full of themselves( of course these are just general statements). but anyways, national day always makes me feel proud to be a singaporean. at least we have SOMETHING to be proud of, unlike other countries. and i really wished our school celebrated Natl Day with a parade or something, instead of some stupid 2.4run. there was absoulutely no fun and no atmosphere...
thursday, friday, study study. it was back to the grind. yesterday, today, church.
well, tomorrow marks the beginning of a new week of school. just when you thought you've survived one torturous week, another comes around the corner. it's a never ending cycle...arrrrgh...
back to study...
