i'm taking my time to slack before i begin to study for my o levels.

i will start tml, i promise (promise who?)...anw i am treasuring the last few moments of slackdom, till next time...after the stupid o levels.

alright, i am very satisfied with my results, acty not just satisfied, very pleasantly surprised. and very thankful. the milestone of the prelim examinations has been crossed and now it's time for the BIG O.

the teachers are heaping on us tonnes of other schools' prelim paper. will it work? will they really help us to improve to band 1? will it really enable us to get the a1 we need? i dont think so. what we need are wrong concepts to be corrected, for unknown information to be given to us. i feel like those geese that are being bred for the sole purpose of giving michelin-starred chefs the opportunity to cook for filthily wealthy uppity, upper-class ppl. the teachers are stuffing us with mock papers after mock papers for the sole purpose of us doing well for the o levels. apparently they think that is the way, but i think otherwise. dont tell me that the answer for question 5 is A, i want to know why it is A, why not B? dont make us do blindly, what help is that?

anw, for all my ranting and raving, i am still stuck with no option. we have three mock exams next week, AFTER SCHOOL, if i may emphasise that point. what then, is the point of cutting short our school day if they are going to make us do EVEN MORE other schools' papers. pointless...teach me, dont force-feed me!

i updating my friendster profile, it's been long overdue. i realised what stupid things i used to like back then. under 'favourite tv shows', i once put singapore idol. now, i've changed it to 'american idol (not the singapore version)'. i guess sg idol was a novelty that sort of just faded away, not helped by indifferent judges, lame hosts and uninteresting, mostly off-key contestants. WE WANT AMERICAN IDOL STANDARD!!! good singers with loud, eccentric personalities. we want crooners like reuben studdard, rockers like bo bice, divas like fantasia and latoya, good-looking belters like carrie underwood and catherine mcphee, spasticated ppl like taylor hicks, and of course, quality superstars like KELLY CLARKSON. throw in abit of spicy gossip between the judges and you've got yourself a winning formula. for extra measure, kick gurmit singh and daniel ong out and get in some better hosts. colby or utt from mtv would be good. change the judges as well. dick lee is getting too old, get kumar in the house! and knock out plain, boring florence lian and bring in anita sarawak, jacintha just doesnt talk sense, so change her with kit chan or tanya chua, since they are so pro at slanging in an angmoh accent. ken lim can stay since he's been the most honest so far but he could work a bit harder on those one-line knock-outs.

oh well, nothing to comment on already, back to school tml. haiz. guess i'll go do some chinese hw and den slack for the night, maybe study abit for the mock exam...? i dunno. lets see what my heart tells me...
