school's out next thursday! while i guess i shouldnt be complaining...the study break is actually later than in past years...but well, at LEAST there's a study break, before the announcement, word was going around that there will be no study break at all. but now there is, but only for the ppl wif L1R5 10 or below.
i went to eat sumo house with the class ppl on mon. nothing interesting there. but i have to comment on the bento set with the japanese fried rice and breaded chicken. the chicken was very nice and crispy. but the fried rice was too oily for my liking. but you noe at least they gave us two plates of free teriyaki chicken. and i really liked those. but, anw, that's not really important.
mock exams suck. we had mock exams for emaths, english and chem this week. they were an utter waste of time. especially the chem mock exam, which was 2hr and 45min long! arrgh. time that could have been better spent elsewhere. anw, i havent been doing well for the mock exams, definitely not the same level as prelims. i guess i should be starting to study harder...
i took an IQ test on thursday. helping troy out for his masters degree or sth. it was kinda cool since i've never done an IQ test before. im actually kind of worried that i wont do as well as i expected. i've always fancied myself as having high IQ. haha. but u never noe. the test was quite easy, but according to troy, it's only level one. i have two more tests to take. but anw, it's quite cool lah. so im looking forward to the next two.
today is mr lee's wedding. HAPPY WEDDING! or marriage. wadeva. i'm gg to sentosa later for the reception, but not staying for the wedding dinner tho...dont want to spend all that money. i think i'll save it for more movies. upcoming movies to catch: death note; miami vice; you, me and dupree. yeah, im an average, full-blooded singaporean. i was watching the news yesterday and they said that singapore has one of the highest movie-going rates per person IN THE WORLD. we singaporeans may not be able to win an olympic gold, but when it comes to rotting in the cinema, we're tops man. but i was quite surprised at the number of movies a person goes to a year. they said that the average singaporean watches 5 movies a year. Have they got that right? i know of ppl who watch 5 movies A MONTH. so i think maybe they have to do a recount...
anw, before mr lee's wedding, im gg to vivocity. yup, they're opening today. so im gonna check it out. i guess this is another singaporean trait in me. have to go to the newest, biggest, shopping malls. i was at msia's times square (Msia's biggest mall) a few weeks since it opened oso. haha. i guess all singaporeans are mall junkies.
gotta go out soon. i'll be back with pictures from mr lee's wedding.
