arrgh, it's crazy, im like finally coming to a close on a chapter of my life. after the o level results are out, it's sayonara ahs for one last time. but im quite glad to say that till now, i've been keeping in touch with secondary school friends. just two saturdays ago i went with a few of the councillors to bugis just to walk around. and also ive been going back for cds sessions quite often and going out with joshua for movies. yep, my secondary school friends are still the best!
im coming to terms to being in RJC. i think im getting used to the school and its culture. the trip there is torturous, but once you reach college, i dont feel so bad already. how sad, that the results are coming out soon. i think that i might just stay in RJ, and trust God to make me do well there. it's really a good school, no matter what people say about RI and RGS ppl and elitism (which by the way, is purely rumours). at the back of my head i still hold on to the notion that every bad thing i heard about RJ is still true and that all these Rafflesian weirdos will unleash thier true colours after the 2nd intake. but the mind must believe what the eye sees. so far, the teachers have been friendly and helpful and the people have been nice. slightly aloof sometimes but still nice regardless. RJC people are just a bunch of normal teenagers who like hanging out in shopping malls and talking cock but are (generally) academically more inclined than the rest. these are people who study hard and play hard as well and strive for excellence in everything they do. now what's wrong with that?
anw, deviating from the topic, SINGAPORE WON THE ASEAN CUP! good job lions. specifically Khairul Amri. but i think that the loudest applause should go to coach Raddy Avramovich. the guy came in to replace Jan Poulsen and led the lions to two consecutive Asean Championships. maybe one win was a fluke, but two titles in a row? i think that speaks volumes. when singaporeans had little to zero respect for the national team, Raddy came and renewed the hope and nationalism in singaporeans. for once i feel damn proud of our national team. hopefully they can build on this victory and establish themselves in asia. im sure they can do it. Raddy is special.
gtg, take care and God bless.
Auspicium Melioris Aevi. LOL~
