went back to AHS on friday after a relatively entertaining teachers' day celebrations in RJ. and boy was it great to be back!

a few days prior to the event i was getting very excited about going back as i heard that a huge number of people from my batch would descend upon AHS on friday and invade the lessons to find old teachers. and how true it was. at around 11pm the entire canteen was flooded with people from Sec 4 06 and it was truly a sight to behold. it felt as though it was recess time last year except everyone was wearing different uniforms. i was just happy that everyone was so rooted to the school and took time off to come back and catch up with old friends and teachers.

one thing i remember really clearly was our 'invasion' of the current 4J when they were taking a class picture with wang lao shi. it was quite special that most of the old 4J and the current 4J were together in the same classroom taking a photo together with our chinese teacher. it was quite interesting to be back in the same classroom that we all spent some of our best times together in. and also to find out that our 'storeroom' at the back of the classroom still contained our old paintbrushes and art materials!

other teachers we also went to find was mr lee, mrs lam, mrs liang, mrs lai and leelaoshi.

i was so so happy to meet all my old friends again, and seeing how some have changed and most remained as funny and as crappy as ever. even after school ended and most of the teachers left, i still stayed back with a group of council friends taking retarded pictures and laughing at old jokes and playing new games. it didnt feel as though it had been 8 months since we left the school. it felt as though no time had passed and we were picking up where we left off.

alas, i do not have the photos to upload onto the blog but i shall ask for them and add them later. all in all, it was the most memorable teachers' day ever for me.
